So I was going to test my web host’s auto installer, and was going to put a test version of WordPress with ComicPress on my website… But I accidentally installed it to the root directory instead of the test folder, and um, well, deleted all of Rhondalicious.com

I’ve noticed all my recent posts are about my kids…
I don’t really do anything away from them, that’s why.

I know, I know. Every mom says that - but I really think my kids are smart.
Today we were listening to TMBG’s “Here Come the ABCs” - we love that album in this home. Anyhow, we’ve known for a while that he has a really good ear - there’s a song called “Letter Shapes” where one of the Johns plays the song by drawing each letter on a midi touch pad. Pan can pick up on the letters just by hearing the sound they make as they are drawn - and not just from the beginning! Start the song anywhere in the middle and he can pick right up and tell you the letters that are being drawn (There’s no words). So we have been thinking lately that he’s also got to have a photographic memory, and I’m convinced. There’s another little vignette called “Letter/Not A Letter” where different symbols are shown on the screen, and some kids tell you if it’s a letter or not. When we were listening to the CD (so no visual cues from the DVD) he was saying *what* the saymbol was before the kids said whether or not it was a letter (either by saying ‘huh’ or ‘whut’ if it was not a letter, and the letter’s name at the point in the song when that letter would be showing on the screen).

So hooray for me - I have installed Ubuntu on my laptop, with VirtualBox to run Windows XP inside it, for games and work.
