I have been a busy bee lately…
I am currently putting off sewing the sleeves onto Tink’s Cinderella gown - for Christmas she is getting a Cinderella dress and a new Sleeping Beauty dress - her Halloween one is fighting the good fight, but won’t last beyond the end of the year. It would be easier to finish sewing, if I had glasses of the proper prescription, but my new glasses haven’t arrived yet, so I’m wearing my glasses from high school, and at least 2 prescriptions back. Not the best thing to wear whilst sewing shiny crushed panne velvet!

Regardless of your opinion on either side of the Proposition 8 situation… Sending mysterious letters with white powder to ANYONE is not an appropriate reaction.

Yay, back in the freezing wastelands of Utah!
I kid, I kid. But the 85 degree weather I witnessed in California just makes it that much harder to accept the 30-ish degrees I get to deliver the paper in.

We’re heading to Cali today, planning on Disneyland tomorrow, and the Savanna Reunion on Saturday. We’re going to my old church on Sunday, and heading to Vegas that evening, and on to Utah Monday morning.

I love Sesame Street today!
There was a segment on the letter of the day, where Plain White Ts sang a song about T to the tune of “Hey There Delilah” - but instead of the band themselves being on the show, there was a cute segment with a plain white muppet letter T singing. Took me a second to get it. It’s not on YouTube yet, otherwise I’d link to it.

After looking all over town for affordable, non-see through, white knit fabric, I decided I was going to end up in my generic “sexy vampire” costume…
