Delivering papers keeps me busy! I used to have lots of time after the kids went to bed to go and play on the computer, but now I’m going to bed within an hour of when the kids go to sleep!

So my sister in law also belly dances, and recently joined a local troupe - today they had a little community arts showcase and she invited us to come and watch. I’m really glad I went, because a friend of mine was dancing, and my step-sister was there with her little girl as well.

I really need some ideas - my two kids have been at each others throats for months now, but ever since preschool got out a month ago, they have been driving me up the wall, and they ignore me, and I can’t control them at all. They continually try to kill each other any where we go.

Icky icky icky.
Middle of the night, fever, bones hurt. Nothing stays down for long.
Yesterday Tink had started to taper off with the puking, just in time for me to start. I was in the bathroom, kneeling at the porcelain altar, when Peter Pan comes in and says “Whatcha dooin’, mama? You gonna be makin’ a bigger cough?”

WOO
Yesterday was filling day #2 - now my bottom teeth are totally cavity free! I only have 2 cavities left, on top, and so we’ll fix those in 2 weeks. Then the deep cleaning to remove the gum disease from under my gumline so that it stops coming back. I get the feeling that procedure is going to SUCK.

For Easter Dinner, my father took us out to the Red Lobster for dinner… On the way home, Pan declared that Mommy was an opopus, Tinkerbell was a mermaid like Ariel, Daddy was a fish man like King Triton, and Pan was a fish.

I found this email while cleaning out my hard drive… I thought I’d blog it here for posterity. I thought it was interesting, because it’s one of the few times he talks to me a little bit about my mother (who I don’t really remember at all):

2007 was an interesting year. Good things, bad things.
New Year’s Eve was fun, though. Again, good and bad - my friends couldn’t make it, but my favorite family members were there. We played a lot of games, and I shot one lucky game of pool (didn’t win, but I got 5 balls in on one turn! It was bizzare!). Peter Pan tried SO HARD to make it till midnight, but he passed out at 11:45 at night. Tink slept from 7 pm to about 11, and so she was up for the new year (and she stole my sparkling apple cider!)

Testing a new wordpress plugin that allows me to use bbCode in my posts… I’m curious to see how that translates over to LJ-land!

So, we had a pretty nice holiday here, even with the money being tight!
The Saturday before Christmas we drug my hermit brother in law on a double date with a friend of mine - we went to the Sakura japanese style grill/sushi bar (and my BIL took the bill for that, thank heavens! As it passed from my husband, in front of me, to my BIL, I snuck a peek… HOLY CRAP, it was pricey because the men got meaty combos. I’m glad my brother in law got a raise recently!). Then we took her mini-golfing and bowling. Can you belive that I found the one person in Utah Valley that has never done either? Anyhow, the boys beat the girls at both games, but we all had lots of fun anyhow. And at the bowling alley, a girl on a date with some guy was totally SMASHING him, with strikes and spares all over the place. Good for her! (Though my husband told me that the hottest girls are terrible at bowling…)
