On a little side trip through the internet, I started looking at voice types, and I was wondering what I am now - when I was a lot younger, I got classified as a mezzo-soprano, but since then I’ve gained almost a whole octave in range, both above and below. But my highest notes have always been just a touch too airy to want to call myself a lyric soprano (and I would need a loooot of work to be close to coloratura, I just can’t carry those high notes without sounding a bit reedy), and I don’t have the push of a spinto soprano. I’ve got the range of a Wagerian soprano, but I don’t have the oomph or maturity that would take.
