Blogalicious
…Rhonda’s blog about anything and everything…
My birthday is coming in 2 months, and I figured I should prioritize my little list of wishes, to see if any of the things I want might actually be doable…
I’ve still never owned a nice jacket made from REAL leather. That’s a nice “someday” sort of wish…
But Target has a great faux-leather jacket that looks just like a classic style motorcycle jacket. I love those, and I love the euro-style corduroy copy of my other favorite jacket style. Anyhow, my husband thinks that first jacket is incredibly silly, and teased me relentlessly when I tried it on in the store. I still like it, though!
My next wish, this is a maybe sort of wish (maybe as in maybe we can get it, not maybe I want it - I do want it!) is the new phone T-Mobile will be getting very soon… The HTC Dream AKA the first phone with the Android OS on it. Rumor says pre-existing TMobile customers will have a short time where they can pre-order the phone at a deep discount, if they renew their contract. Well, I’ve purposely not renewed my contract just so I could take advantage of any sort of discount or deal on this phone… rumored price for the pre-order is either 199 or 150. I’m really really really crossing my fingers on this, the phone looks awesome - like a mix between an iPhone and a Sidekick Slide.
Still wishing for a Wii and a Wii Fit, but the price range on that means I most likely will not be getting it until there is a new Nintendo console… boo.
My last big wish, the one that I know won’t happen, but I’m still wishing for…
The QLink Pegasus 150 - a really nice looking scooter. Here’s a review of the scooter. Things I like about it - fantastic mileage, slightly bigger tank than average, bigger wheels, 4 stroke, liquid cooled, disc brakes… Yeah, I really really like this scooter - I like the fact that I could use it to do my paper route, and then my hubs could use it to go to and from work. I could stop spending $150 in gas every month that I never used to spend (Gee thanks, distribution center being 2 towns away!).
Oh, and of course I still love t-shirts, shoes, vintage dresses, and fun/quirky jewelry, but there’s nothing specific drawing my eyes right now.
