So remember how a few weeks I mentioned how our kitchen floor was all water damaged? Well, the insurance company finally paid up, and now my kitchen is being dismantled. Loudly. Oh, and it’s 92 degrees outside right now. Which is where we are, to avoid the loud noise, since we don’t have noise cancelling head thingies.

And since we were out here in the back yard, Pan noticed my ONE red tomato… and picked it, bringing it to me saying “Mama, mama, have an apple!” as he then promptly attempted to bounce it on the lawn.

No harm done to the slightly ripe tomato. It’s on the table on our back porch, I guess I’ll slice it up and we’ll have it with dinner.

My garden did very badly this year - I kind of assumed that our sprinklers would reach it, since they are right next to my garden… well, no, silly me, they pretty much skip the whole garden area. I only hand watered it maybe 3 times a week - I am dumb, and didn’t want to over water… ended up under watering!

Anyhow, I just told Pan he needs to eat what he picks, and he says “Noooo, I can’t!” in a super dramatic voice. Tink then pipes up “Oh Pan, don’t eat dee tomatoos!”

So I told him he gets to eat his tomato with dinner. I’ll slice it up and eat most of it myself! :-D
