…Rhonda’s blog about anything and everything…
So, I’ve been doing BYU’s CES Education Week thingy, taking a class in parenting and in communication for effective relationships. Pretty good classes.
Too bad I totally forgot how big that campus was, and wore not-great shoes the first day, so I ended up with blisters under the layer of callous on my big toes. Owie.
Also, the first day I got there I kept circling campus, unable to find parking, until one of the parking lot guards FINALLY informed me that there was parking above the Mariott Center, in the lot that is normally the marching band practice area.
So it’s blacktop with yardlines marked on it. Yes, I am a geek, and I wanted to see if I still had a perfect marching band stride… Yup. 8 steps on the dot between lines. 22.5 inches with toes rolled high. Too bad that’s not a skill I can use in my every day life :(
