I’ve noticed all my recent posts are about my kids…

I don’t really do anything away from them, that’s why.

Anyhow, Tinkerbell is finally starting to walk across rooms and such - but she is shy and won’t walk around strangers. The last 2 weeks she’s been cutting 2 molars and 2 eyeteeth, so she’s been really moody and grouchy. I guess this gives me a glimpse of her as a teenager.

She also LOVES to mimic and pretend. She has a baby doll I got her after her 15 month dr’s appt, and she will love and snuggle her baby, and sing to it, and give it a bottle. She loves her baby (aptly named ‘Baby’). She also loves to sing, even if she doesn’t know all the words - she is proud that she can sing the ‘Clean Up’ song - Nah nah nah nah nee nee na nee nee nee nah! Nah nah nah nah ebby bubby doo doo share! She also tries to count, but can’t get any higher than 123 and occasionally 4. She loves to sing the ABCs, but she mostly sings ‘A B C Nee nee nah nee…LMNOP..nee nah heggs why zee!’

Peter Pan has been really big on ‘On your mark, get set, go!’ = it’s the only way to get him to immediately behave. He also loves to toast you with a juice box, he calls it ‘Kickin’ the juice!’ - He’s also been really big on singing, and now he loves to sing along with songs he doesn’t know, so he’s always a smidge behind and often gets the wrong words, but it sounds soooo cute.

We’ve also discovered that his chronic constipation is related to his lactose intolerance - he didn’t fully outgrow it, but instead he’s just got a really really hard time where if his lactose intake is high, his body turns all the milk into rocks in his belly. So he’s back on lactose-free milk, and we’re trying to hunt down his favorite lactase pills.

And me? I’m constantly exhausted, I wake up tired and have to force my eyes to stay open all day. But at least I’m making sure I vacuum the house every day, and I do a load of laundry and a load of dishes every day. And those things I get done during naptime - the rest of the day, it’s a constant GOGOGOGOGOGO… I’m soooo glad Pan starts preschool on Monday.

It means that 3 days a week I can go to the gym and relax (who is crazy enough to call working out their relaxing time?!) with Tink in the gym daycare with me, and Pan at school with lots of new friends.

In a little bit we’re going to the school’s open house night - I know he’ll be excited for Monday!
